Another Still Life

This  time this Still life is another one in german.

Stilleben mit Äpfeln und Flasche

Still life with Apples and Bottle

Such original titles, aren't they?

This painting is by the Russian painter Alexej von Jawlensky. Born in 1864 Torzhok, Tver Governorate, Russian Empire   (wherever that is) and died in 1941 Wiesbaden, Germany. He is whats called an expressionist painter. One who paints to express emotional meaning, rather than reality. I can't tell what emotion he is trying to tell with this painting, but I assume that's for the viewer to decide. This man pursued his painting career by moving to Munich, Germany, and met with other Russian painters. He suffered from Arthritis in his older days and stopped painting. Then he died. What a great life.

Still life #2

This is a painting is called Stillben mit Äpfeln, or Still life with Apples in English. This painting obviously is a still life, with Apples. This Painting was painted by Carl Schuch, an Austrian Painter. As seen in the picture below he likes to wear big hats. Carl Shuch painted mainly landscapes and still lifes. Interestingly enough he never sold one painting in his life. He stopped painting in 1891, then died in Vienna. What a sad life.

Still Life with Fruit

i have changed my project completely. instead of learning "guitar" I will learn about Still Life Fruit. I will post paintings of Still Life fruit. And make a documentary about said fruit.

This is a Painting by some Italian dude named Carravagio. This dude basically painted a lot of paintings of Jesus and Boy's doing stuff to fruit. His first "still" life of fruit was "Basket of fruit" in 1596. His last Still life was in 1601, which is the image you see now. "Basket of Fruit" and "Still life with Flowers and Fruit" were his only two still life paintings. The rest of his paintings are more of scenes and people from the Bible. Not very interesting, but it was the first "still life" painting I saw on Google images.
